Home Generator Audit Privacy Burn link File box

Privacy policy

Default posture: plaintext, keys, and files are not uploaded. Burn-link ciphertext is the exception, and the key is not in that payload.

What we process

MyPassGen has no account system. You do not register, and we do not store an email, password, or session for login.

Password generation, strength audit, link cleaning, text redaction, and file encryption all run in your browser. Plaintext, the password under test, original text, files, and passphrases in those flows are not uploaded by default.

The burn-link exception

When you create a burn-after-read link, the browser finishes local encryption first, then hands ciphertext to the server for a short stay. The decryption key lives only in the link’s # fragment. It is not sent as a query parameter.

After a successful read, the ciphertext is destroyed. Opening the link again shows that it has been burned or expired, not the original text.
